The new beautifully organized Museum of Roman Life (Musée de la Romanité) in Nîmes opened only recently, and we had the pleasure of visiting it this past Friday.  Here are two photos of Roman bells, found in archaeological digs in Nîmes and its surrounding area.  The smaller ones in the second photo are children’s toys.  The following translation is from the window display text. Happy, safe summer!
