    Construction on the new carillon tower at Oakland University, in Rochester Hills, Michigan–the Elliott Carillon Tower–continues apace–2 pictures from December are below.     The Elliott Carillon Tower main frame is now topped off, though still without the crowning metal-clad cupola.  The tower will be 151 feet tall and will contain a 49 chromatic bell carillon with a manual clavier in the playing cabin in the shorter middle section and with all bells above the cabin in the larger opening.
