      <title>New carillon tower rises at Michigan’s Oakland University</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Construction on the new carillon tower at Oakland University, in Rochester Hills, Michigan–the Elliott Carillon Tower–continues apace–2 pictures from December are below. &lt;p&gt;The Elliott Carillon Tower main frame is now topped off, though still without the crowning metal-clad cupola. &amp;nbsp;The tower will be 151 feet tall and will contain a 49 chromatic bell carillon with a manual clavier in the playing cabin in the shorter middle section and with all bells above the cabin in the larger opening.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
