2021 Annual Meeting of the Members

When?

Due to the COVID pandemic, this year's annual congress will take place virtually. The annual meeting of the members (business meeting) will take place on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 6pm Eastern Time, by Zoom.

How to connect

The Zoom link for joining the meeting will be emailed directly to GCNA members only. You do not need to register to attend this meeting. (It will be different from the Zoom link that will be used for all other congress events which are open to the public.)

If you have not used Zoom before and would like to test your connection, you can do so at this link. Voting on motions will take place using the polling function on Zoom.

Background documents

Committee/officer annual reports and other background documents will be posted below beginning in mid-May. Because of the large number of potential attendees and the format of the meeting via Zoom, members are strongly encouraged to review the reports and direct any questions they may have to committee chairs and officers beforehand, rather than saving them for the meeting itself.

Agenda

2. Moment of silence

3. Minutes of the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Members

The draft minutes are available here. [Questions about this item? Please direct them to the Recording Secretary before the meeting.]

Draft motion: To approve the actions taken by the Board of Directors to adapt the processes for the election of directors and the advancement of members to carillonneur membership for the years 2020 and 2021, as necessitated by the cancellation of the 2020 congress and the cancellation of the in-person 2021 congress.
