Grants to attend congress

The GCNA offers grants to cover the costs of congress registration fees for two groups. Information about these grants are publicized each year to GCNA members in the months leading up to the congress.


First-time Congress Attendees

Congress registration scholarships are available to a person who is:

  1. attending their first GCNA Congress;
  2. a North American resident;
  3. a member of the Guild in good standing; and
  4. not receiving reimbursement for the Congress from another source.


New Carillonneur Members

Congress registration scholarships are available to successful advancement exam candidates to attend Congress in one of the following two years after their advancement, in order to participate in a New Members’ recital.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the person must:

  1. have passed their advancement exam within the last two years;
  2. be a North American resident; 
  3. be a member of the Guild in good standing; and
  4. not be receiving reimbursement for the Congress from another source.
