2011 Summer Carillon Recitals
Many North American carillons present a variety of special summer recitals in addition to whatever year-round playing may be scheduled. Usually these summer recitals are organized into a regular series and/or involve guests from other places. This page lists all such series and special events in geographical order, identifying the date, time and recitalist(s) for each event.
The name of each carillon or institution also serves as a link to the site data page which presents more information about the instrument, especially its routine playing schedule, details of its location and a further link to a locator map. Therefore, carillons which reported summer series in recent years are included even when no such series has been reported for the current year; the site data page might reflect a reason for that absence.
Corrections and additions from series organizers should be sent to Sue Bergren.
On this page is the 2011 summer recital listing, in three sections:
North American recitals are organized by place, while overseas recitals are organized by performer. There is a downloadable print version of this calendar. >Print versions of listings for prior years can be found from the bottom of this page.
