GCNA Keyboard Standards

&

Tower Design and Construction Resource

The GCNA adopted its first keyboard standards in 1970, and the standards were published in the November 1970 Bulletin. The standards were revised in 1981, but the revised standards have not been published until now. The standards are now included as Appendix D in the GCNA Carillon Tower Design and Construction resource booklet.

The entire Carillon Tower Design and Construction booklet is available here (WARNING-large file: 3.3 MB PDF).

This booklet has been prepared by Patrick Macoska, R.A., as a resource for architects, engineers, contractors, and others contemplating the planning, design, construction or renovation of a carillon tower. Patrick Macoska is a Registered Architect, State of Michigan and Chairperson of the GCNA's Tower Construction and Renovation Committee.

If you have questions about the booklet, or if you have a question which the booklet does not answer, email Patrick Macoska.

The Keyboard Standards are available separately here as a PDF file (300 kb).
