   The Taylor Street and First churches
   were federated in 1916; they moved
   together into the present building,
   with the Taylor Street chime, in 1956;
   they became a Union congregation in
   1961, finally uniting fully with the
   merger of "northern" and "southern"
   Presbyterian denominations in 1983.

The church Website has a small aerial photo of the present building complex on the History page, which describes how the two congregations developed and eventually merged.  There is also a photo of the old Taylor Street building, but a better one can be found on a Heritage page.  There is no mention of the bells anywhere.
