A blogger's article relates the chime history, but is slightly misleading about the pre-1969 action.  It includes a photo taken in the belfry, showing the swinging tenor low-hung in the center of the frame rather than on top (as both Meneelys generally did).
There is a link to a video clip (which may not work on all browsers) composed of snapshots.  The sound of the Westminster quarters at the beginning and end of the video is NOT from these bells, but from an electronic device.
