*Remarks:

   The six bass bells are each hung for
   swinging in standard American fittings,
   but the roping has been modified to
   permit them to swing full circle (but
   without stays); this makes change
   ringing possible, though difficult.
   Added semitone is flat 7th.
   Restoration planned, including
   tuning and rehanging.

   Chime with Ellacombe stand of 10 bells
   Pitch of heaviest bell is F  in the middle octave
   Transposition is nil (concert pitch)
   Keyboard range:     F G   /    NONE  
   There is one added semitone
   The whole instrument was installed in 1890
     with bells made by McShane     
   Year of latest technical information source is 1992
