*Remarks:

   The work by Meneely is reported as
   retuning but may have included some
   recasting.  The 1959 enlargement
   included one more bell by Bigelow.
   The 1985 recasting replaced three
   Michiels bells.  The 1991
   enlargement included replacement of
   frame, clappers and action.

   Traditional carillon of 49 bells
   Pitch of heaviest bell is C  in the middle octave
   Transposition is nil (concert pitch)
   Keyboard range:     C C   /    C G   
   There are no missing bass semitones
   There is a practice console
   The instrument was enlarged in 1991
     with  1 bell made by Petit & Fritsen
   Prior history:
     In 1985,  3 bells were recast or replaced
       with bells made by Paccard

     In 1959, the instrument was enlarged to 48 bells
       by Paccard

     In 1951, the instrument was enlarged to 40 bells
       by Bigelow

     In 1951,  8 bells were recast or replaced
       with bells made by Bigelow     
       (8 bells were added in and/or remain from that work.)
     In 1951, 10 bells were recast or replaced
       with bells made by Petit & Fritsen
       (10 bells were added in and/or remain from that work.)
     Previously, some bells were recast or replaced
       with bells made by Meneely/Wvlt
