Traditional carillons in Central and South America contain bells supplied by a variety of bellfoundries.  The sites are listed by foundry in the following order: Within each foundry group, sites are listed in order by year of installation (unknown first).
Following the year is an indication of the founder's contribution to the instrument: NOTE: Carillon-sized instruments of unknown mechanism (tagged "mech?") are listed both here and in the corresponding index for non-traditional carillons.  When the uncertainty is resolved, one of the entries will be removed.
