   the ground in the garden at the
   north entrance to the building.

   Electric-keyboard (from organ) carillon of 47 bells
   Pitch of heaviest bell is D  in the middle octave
   Transposition is unknown
   Keyboard range:     ----  /    ----  
   There are two missing bass semitones
   The instrument was enlarged in 1996
     with 36 bells made by Petit & Fritsen
   Prior history:
     In 1931, the instrument was begun with 15 bells
       by McShane
       (11 bells remain from that work.)
