   Original carillon by Barbieux, Tournai,
   1784-5; Michiels supplied 9 bells
   and new keyboard in 1922 or 1931
   (reports conflict); renovated by Paccard
   in 1949-50 (40 bells date from this
   time); Cornille-Havard supplied 1 in
   1984.  Also a bourdon, "Amanda", 1640,
   4650 kg, not connected to carillon.

   Traditional carillon of 48 bells
   Pitch of heaviest bell is D# in the middle octave
   Transposition is unknown
   Keyboard range:     ----  /    ----  
   The instrument was enlarged in 1984
     by the maker cited in Remarks above
   Prior history:
     In 1950, 40 bells were recast or replaced
       with bells made by Paccard     
       (40 bells were added in and/or remain from that work.)
     In 1931, the instrument was enlarged to 47 bells
       by Michiels    
       (2 bells were added in and/or remain from that work.)
     In 1784, the instrument was begun with 38 bells
       by the maker cited in Remarks above
       (4 bells remain from that work.)
