Original chime of 8 or 9 bells, cast by P.Waghevens, was enlarged by others; totally replaced by A.-F. vanden Gheyn; mostly replaced by N.Noorden & J.A. deGrave in 1705-14. All were located in the central tower and were destroyed by war 25-26 Aug 1914. C. & F. Sergeys installed new carillon in west tower 1931-35. All but one were taken away in 1944 (WW II), but 37 were recovered in 1945; finally restored in 1961 by F.Sergeys. Tower also contains church-owned peal of 4.
