Bells from 1794 (by Thomas Mears) installed 1807 in St.Phillip's Church, hung for swing-chiming; all dispersed before new (and renamed) church was finished in 1856. Ring of 8 in a chime of 10; added semi- tones flat 7th [2b] & sharp 4th [5#] Cracked bell replaced in 2001 has been kept (perhaps for display).
