   Tunes changed five times each year.

*Remarks:

   800-pin mechanical drum with three
   animated figures.  Bequeathed to the
   city of Graz in 1929.  Original bells,
   by Peter Hilfer (Wiener Neustadt),
   were taken for war materiel in WW II;
   restored with bells by Grassmayr.
   (Report of the original instrument
   being in the city hall is erroneous.)

   Pitch of heaviest bell is D  in the treble octave
   Transposition is not applicable

   There are no missing bass semitones
   All bells were recast or replaced in 1956
     by the maker cited in Remarks above

     In 1905, the complete instrument was installed
       with bells made by the maker cited in Remarks above
       (0 bells remain from that work.)
